Biomass energy is an important renewable resource with the characteristics of wide spread, green, low carbon, clean and renewable. Biomass energy is also the only all-round energy that can be produced continuously, controllable scale, storable and transportable. With the increasingly severe global environmental situation, the substitute of renewable resources for fossil energy will gradually accelerate. The development of biomass power generation is an irreversible trend.
What is biomass energy?
Biomass energy refers to all kind of organisms formed by photosynthesis, using solar energy, atmosphere, water, soil, etc. Biomass energy includes all plants, microorganisms and animals that feed on plants and microorganisms, as well as the waste produces by them, such as crops and wastes, wood and forestry wastes and animal waste.
Biomass power generation
Biomass power generation is the use of biomass energy to generate electricity.
Biomass power generation is based on crop straw and forest waste as raw material for shredding pretreatment, then transport them to boiler for incineration power generation. The ash generated by combustion can be processed into fertilizer and returned to field. In developed countries such as Europe and the United States, biomass power generation has formed a very mature industry and has become an important method of power generation and heating.
Biomass shredding disposal
Before the agricultural and forestry wastes become heat energy or electric energy, the straw needs to be shredded, then burned. The biomass shredding is an important part of biomass cogeneration project.
The advantages of agricultural and forestry waste shredding and disposal: the shredded material is massive, volume compression saves storage space and transportation costs; shredded material has high combustion efficiency, easy to burn and less residual carbon; large energy density, long burning; it emits less harmful gas and has environmental protection benefits.
GEP Intelligent Biomass Shredding and Disposal Production Line
Based on the characteristics of agricultural and forestry waste, GEP has independently developed and designed an intelligent biomass shredding and disposal production line. It has completely improved the feed structure and shredding device of the shredder. The biomass raw materials have the advantages of convenient feeding, high output and high shredding efficiency.
GEP biomass shredding and disposal production line is mainly composed of multiple double-shaft shearing shredder, chain plate conveyor, belt conveyor, GI intelligent monitoring system and dust removal system. This production line is the first choice for biomass power plants. It adopts chain plate with intelligent feeding and can automatically adjust the feeding speed according to the load of main motor. The equipment has high feeding and shredding efficiency, which make the feeding smoother, avoids idling, and greatly improves the output.
How does the intelligent biomass shredding production line work?
The agricultural and forestry wastes enter the double-shaft shredder by chain plate conveyor, then pushed into shredder by the upper pusher. GI intelligent monitoring system will suspends according to the materials are continuously supplied in sufficient quantities in order to avoid shredder failures caused by the accumulation of biomass raw materials in shredder chamber. The shredder biomass will send by discharge belt conveyor and process in the next step.
Wise brain - - GI Intelligent Monitoring System
GEP biomass shredding production line is equipped with GI intelligent monitoring system to monitor the equipment running in real time, realize real time video monitoring, online detection and intelligent prediction alarm. This system can analyze, estimate, early warn through collecting the video and data information, set multiple intelligent protections, ensure the safe operation of equipment.
The GI intelligent monitoring system can achieve:
(1) Save labor costs
Improve the direct and indirect labor efficiency to reduce labor costs.
(2) Save capital costs
The intelligent monitoring system is used for remote management to achieve more accurate management and production operations, which can reduce equipment failure.
(3) Flexible operation
Production management personnel can view production data and operation status anywhere, any time through APP and browser, which greatly improves efficiency compared with traditional manual statistics.
(4) Processing failure
According to the operation status of the intelligent monitoring system, the product quality improvement and defect elimination can be realized by avoiding the error control.
As a high-tech environmental protection enterprise in the field of solid waste recycling, GEP’s market share has continued to rise and products sell well at home and abroad. Supporting the continuous upgrading of the company’s positioning is the increasing brand influence and market position. The strength of GEP has been recognized by customers at home and abroad. GEP is willing to create higher value for more customers with rich experience and advanced technology.
GEP will continue to adhere company's mission of take the recycling of resources as our responsibility, improve our innovation ability, contribute our strength to solid waste disposal field and protect lucid waters and lush mountains.
